Riding the success of her music video tribute to Boston Marathon runners, Michelle Lewis is releasing her second full-length album entitled The Parts Of Us That Still Remain on April 29. The album was recorded in Boston and Los Angeles with producer Anthony J. Resta (Elton John, Duran Duran, Shawn Mullins) and features ten original tracks in a style Michelle is calling "fashion folk."
Michelle's music is lyric-driven and sincere but also well-produced and polished. Michelle said, "I've never felt that I really fit perfectly into any one music category, so for this album I thought I'd make one up that felt like it fit. I'm really happy with how the album came out and can't wait for people to hear it."
The official Boston release show will be on May 2 at The Davis Square Theatre in Somerville, followed immediately by a twenty-date national tour including New York, Nashville and Los Angeles. Detailed tour information is available at michellelewismusic.com.
