Becky Schlegel, Anthony Ihrig & Eric Christopher Present “Clover & The Bee”

$15 Buy Tickets!

Join Eric Christopher, Anthony Ihrig and Becky Schlegel for the launch of their new project, Clover and the BeeClover and the Bee began as a semi-regular song swap among three friends, songwriters and musical co-conspirators at Christopher’s house in the West 7th neighborhood of Saint Paul. The three dug into their songwriting back catalogs to show off songs that were either not bluegrass enough, not country enough or just plan too weird or idiosyncratic for any other project. It was at this open house for misfit songs that the three got the idea to start a new band, one whose sound showed their country and bluegrass roots but wasn’t bound by tradition. With the addition of bassist Kevin Rowe (Buffalo Galaxy, Space Burritos), who had recently moved to the Twin Cities from Madison, WI, Clover the Bee was born. Named after a line from Emily Dickinson’s poem “To Make a Prairie,” Clover and the Bee play American roots music that’s as free and expansive as the wide-open flatlands of the Upper Midwest.

Singer-songwriter Thomas Sticha has been carving out his own niche of Country and Folk in the Minnesota music scene over the past year. In his songwriting, he extracts the intimate and peculiar elements of Folk and Bluegrass storytelling, and he pairs it with the cosmic and nostalgic sounds of Classic Country music. Thomas released his second single, “Mississippi Down,” to a sold-out room at the Aster Cafe in Minneapolis in January 2025.

Amid the ever-evolving country music landscape, where party anthems and rural clichés often reign supreme, Aaron Clafton offers a refreshing blend of authenticity, heartland rock sensibilities, and deeply personal storytelling. Raised in Sauk Rapids, MN, and now based in Nashville, this singer-songwriter brings a Midwestern perspective to his songs, rooted in themes of nostalgia, personal reflection, and an unmistakable connection to home.

Terminal Three (Canceled)

$20 ... (Canceled)

Three uniquely talented musicians join to create a stirring mix of “progressive world music” with futuristic flavors on a combination of instruments seen nowhere else. Greg Herriges plays (and sings into) his guitar and Greek bouzouki with a singular, award-winning approach honed by his studies of Eurasian music. rundio represents the 21st century with Chapman stick, a 10-stringed tapped instrument that sings like a bass, a piano, an electronic orchestra, and sometimes all at once. Michael Bissonnette juggles an array of global percussion including cajon, frame drums, zil tree, and Aztec death whistle. The music is original and ancient, daring and mesmerizing.
